ABOUT THE NETWORK

Who We Are

WRC proudly presents the Network for Black Women Leaders (NBWL), an initiative led by and for Black women dedicated to fostering unity, ambition, and leadership among Black women throughout the UK. Our exclusive network aims to challenge biases, celebrate unique cultural leadership, and ensure that Black women find their rightful place in senior leadership roles through merit.

NBWL Vision and Purpose

A world where Black women thrive, unburdened by prejudice, and assume leadership roles with grace and power, where we:

  • Offer an unconditional space for Black women to be true to themselves.
  • Amplify Black women's representation across diverse leadership positions.
  • Connect Black women from all walks of life, encouraging them to grow into the best versions of themselves.

NBWL Coaching Programme: A lifeline for early-career Black women.

This is our fully-funded programme tailored for early-career black women looking to get into new careers or the workplace.

Our coaching programme, primarily focused on UK women from the African diaspora, is an antidote to your unique challenges. Immerse yourself in our dedicated coaching to reignite your confidence, find your path, and thrive within an empowering network. Dive deep into mentorship and rediscover confidence within our uplifting network.

About Jaiye

Jaiye is a strategic marketing and communications leader with over 20 years’ experience spanning public relations, digital marketing, and brand development. At Women's Resource Centre, Jaiye serves as the Lead of the Network for Black Women Leaders, where she curates leadership events, fosters community, and drives initiatives to support Black women’s career development. Known for her inclusive approach, Jaiye is passionate about visibility, equity, and building platforms that amplify marginalised voices.
