The Network for Black Women Leaders (NBWL) Mentoring Programme is a dedicated platform designed to support the professional growth, leadership development, and career progression of Black women of African and Caribbean heritage. Our programme pairs Black women across various industries with experienced mentors who offer guidance, insight, and support to help them thrive in their personal and professional journeys.

The NBWL Mentoring Programme is ideal for Black women of African and Caribbean heritage who are:

  • Mid-career women seeking leadership opportunities or a career transition.
  • Women re-entering the workforce after a career break or looking for ways to accelerate their professional development.
  • Senior leaders who want to give back and mentor the next generation of Black female leaders.

We prioritise applications from mentees working in the women’s sector, recognising the vital work being done by Black women to advance equality, support women’s rights, and create social change within their communities.

  • Mentor-Mentee Matching: Mentees are matched with mentors based on industry expertise, career goals, and professional alignment to ensure a meaningful, impactful relationship.
  • Ongoing Support: In addition to one-to-one mentoring, participants gain access to networking opportunities, professional development workshops, and the wider NBWL community.
