Before and Beyond

One in three women, will experience violence and abuse, a number that has remained largely
unchanged over the past decade. Metropolitan Police Service Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has said the scale of offending by men against women and children is beyond the criminal justice system alone to
tackle.

The new 'Before and Beyond' report from Davina James-Hanman and Yasmin Rehman, which sought the expertise of organisations in the VAWG sector, considers how to make the biggest difference to women's lives and brings together a combined eighty years’ experience of responding to men’s violence towards women and girls.
