Women who are claiming asylum in the UK or women who have received their refugee status in the last 2 years are eligible to join their network and creative and educational activities. Sangini is a Black and minoritised women-led charity that is committed to ending gender-based violence, tackling inequalities and promoting inclusion in the North East of England.Over the years, we have worked more than 5000 women and children, provided employment and training for over 300 women, some of them are now working with Sangini. We have supported many artists through projects and exhibitions. Our partners include galleries, museums, Universities, community groups, community centres, health centres and schools. Today, Sangini has evolved into an organisation with credibility and vision for transforming women’s lives.
