EasyFundraising: Free Funding Boost for your organization!

We are delighted to share that Women’s Resource Centre has teamed up with easyfundraising to offer our member organisations a simple, free way to generate extra income. When your supporters shop online through easyfundraising, thousands of retailers donate to your organisation at no extra cost to the shopper - helping you fund core costs, services, campaigns and the things you need most.

As long as your organisation is registered with easyfundraising, all the leading supermarkets (including Tesco, Morrisons, ASDA, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Iceland and Ocado) will give free donations when you and other members of your network order online from them via easyfundraising, at no extra cost.

In most cases, supermarkets offer a flat donation amount of up to £8 per online order and others offer a percentage based on how much is spent. On average, just one person could generate £100 of unrestricted funding in a year by doing their regular food shop.

Many in your network will already be getting their groceries delivered. Just imagine how much you could raise if they all ordered through easyfundraising! With no extra cost to them, they can help to fund your running costs, services, projects, and more.

Participation Callout for Female Delivery Drivers

WRC are working with University of Lancaster and the Work Foundation to conduct research that explores how UK labour law shapes the job satisfaction and everyday experiences of women working as delivery riders in the platform economy. We are asking women delivery drivers to share their work experiences with us and participate in this study.

We would prefer to carry out in-person interviews, which will last no more than one hour (1hr). We will travel across London to interview women in public places where they feel comfortable. Participants will be given a £25 voucher as a token of appreciation for their participation and time. Please ask women to scan the QR code on the poster to register their interest, their voices will help us to make a difference!

Please see the flyer for more information here.
