EasyFundraising

Over £2.2 million has just been given to community and voluntary led organisations using easyfundraising. All courtesy of retailers giving donations when people shop online. You can be part of the next funding pay out in August by setting up a free easyfundraising page for your organisation.

Simply register your organisation as a good cause with easyfundraising and ask your network (volunteers staff, trustees, family etc) to choose you as the cause they want to support. Then, each time they shop online with over 8,000 well known retailers like Tesco, trainline, M&S, Sainsbury’s, Booking.com, eBay and many more, they’ll raise a cashback donation for your organisation, courtesy of the retailer they shopped with, at no extra cost to anyone!

Every three months, the money raised is paid to your organisation and you can spend it on whatever you like as this classes as unrestricted funding.

Dividing Lines: Anti-Migrant Words

'DIVIDING LINES: How Anti-Migrant Agitators Use Words To Pull Us Apart' draws on narrative analysis and social media data to investigate the language driving racist ideas into the UK mainstream conversation.

Petition: Women's Toilet Facilities

Sign the petition for building regulations to require more women’s toilet facilities in public buildings.

Current building regulations do not reflect real usage patterns; women often face longer queues due to factors such as menstruation and pregnancy, young children commonly accompany their mothers to the toilet, increasing demand.

Insufficient provision causes delays and inconvenience for women and those waiting for them, affecting comfort, dignity and practical use of public spaces. Updating the regulations would ensure women have fair and adequate access to toilet facilities in public buildings.

It's A Smear Campaign: Survey

We all deserve gynaecological care that is trauma informed and culturally sensitive.

‘It’s A Smear Campaign’ aims to bridge the gap between how healthcare professionals deliver cervical screening, and the real needs and access barriers women experience. Through shared understanding, empathy, and collaboration, we’ll empower women to feel informed, supported, and respected, while encouraging healthcare professionals to reflect on and enhance the way care is provided to all women. The goal is to ensure everyone receives consistent, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed gynaecological care.

Calling on the Nottingham City Primary Care Networks to lead the way in setting an improved standard in women’s gynaecological care, one that truly centres women’s voices and lived experiences.

Women in crisis could be left with nowhere to turn as Cambridge Women’s Resources Centre (CWRC) issues an urgent £15,000 appeal to save its counselling service.

CWRC, the grassroots charity which has provided support, education, advocacy and opportunities for almost 45 years, is reaching out to the community to help sustain its women’s counselling service.

As the only dedicated women’s centre in the region, CWRC is facing a critical lack of essential funding at a time when more women than ever are seeking help. Professional referrals have also surged for CWRC to provide support for women living with the impact of trauma, poor housing, domestic abuse, isolation and poverty.

CWRC provides free at point of access counselling for women who often have no other support available. The impact of counselling can be a life-changing process, helping women navigate complex and challenging times with greater resilience, stability and hope.

The loss of this vital counselling service will have a lasting impact on women, their families and the wider community. Your donations can help CWRC continue providing an essential lifeline for women in Cambridge.
