"I really want young women in particular, young LGBT people, to understand what's not acceptable. It's not love to be stalked. It's not love to be prevented from seeing your family and friends. We learned that custody was awarded to the father despite a ten year history of violence towards multiple women and children. Family Court Crisis founder Nataly Anderson has been working hard to push the Government to intervene in the family courts which are clearly not impartial. As a result of her candidacy for Parliament, Nataly was left without work, and is struggling to campaign at this critical time with no income. She has financed most of her campaigning for three years herself. Please donate to and share her Buy Me A Coffee fundraiser, to keep her afloat and campaigning until the Family Court Crisis group can secure funding and she can find work. The event was attended by a wide range of organisations and professionals and demonstrated some of the themes and gaps from focus groups held with women in 2023. It was also an opportunity for the organisation to demonstrate what actions they had taken in response to the voices of women including the development of a financial capability and confidence programme, Buy The Shoes which will be piloted in early 2025. The report was created through the input of women with lived experience who identified quotes and themes from the focus groups and provided overviews of the sessions. thrivin' together would like to thank ROSA for funding this piece of work and to the many women who contributed to the focus groups and report.
