Charity Film Festival


The Saltways Charity Film Festival, is taking place on Thursday 24 September at Rich Mix, London.

A first-of-its-kind day bringing together 130 charity and non-profit professionals for film screenings, workshops, panel discussions, live music and a live-streamed awards ceremony.

ARE: UPLIFT Programme

Applications are open for Cohort 2 of the fully funded UPLIFT Programme, supporting Black, Asian and Mixed Heritage-led organisations across London.
Delivered by Action for Race Equality, the 12-month programme offers tailored consultancy, workshops and peer support to strengthen sustainability, leadership and long-term impact.

Research Survey

Jess Smith; MA postgraduate at London Metropolitan University, studying Woman and Child Abuse and member of Gloucestershire Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre is conducting a survey focussing on the Rape Crisis Movement.
Inspired by her involvement in the recent RCEW Herstories project, she is researching the origins and transformations in ethos and practice within the RCM.

Research Participants Wanted: Black Women Academics in STEMM

NBWL member and PhD researcher at Imperial College London, Sharon Yearwood is seeking Black women academics in STEMM disciplines to participate in research exploring resilience, belonging and empowerment in UK higher education.

Participation involves a confidential 60–90 minute interview online or in person. The study aims to contribute to wider conversations around equity, inclusion and institutional change.
