Training & Events Training & Events Calendar NBWL Elevate Session | Spiritual Intelligence at Work: Leading with Purpose, Insight and Authority In professional spaces that reward performance, speed and visibility, many Black women have learned to lead through excellence, resilience and over-preparation. But what if your deepest leadership advantage isn’t how well you perform, but how deeply you are aligned? In this thought-provoking Network for Black Women Leaders Elevate Session*, healthcare professional, leadership speaker and writer on Leadership, Purpose and Inner Authority Peju Adeyemo introduces spiritual intelligence as a powerful leadership asset. Spiritual intelligence is the capacity to access inner authority, discernment and clarity in environments that often disconnect us from ourselves. It is the ability to lead from presence rather than pressure, from purpose rather than performance. Drawing on her clinical training, lived experience and work supporting patients holistically, Peju will explore how Black women can cultivate deeper self-awareness, strengthen intuitive decision-making and reconnect with their core values, even within high-demand professional spaces. What to Expect Together, we will explore: What spiritual intelligence really means in a leadership context. How to access inner authority when external validation is inconsistent. Discernment as a strategic leadership skill. Moving from performance to presence. Aligning purpose with professional influence. This session offers space to pause, reflect and recalibrate, particularly for women navigating burnout, identity shifts or leadership transitions. Because sustainable leadership is not built on constant proving. It is built on clarity, alignment and authority from within. *Sessions are not recorded. Attend live to be part of the conversation. Who Should Attend This session is for Black women of African and Caribbean heritage who are: Feeling disconnected from their deeper sense of purpose. Navigating leadership transitions or visibility shifts. Seeking greater confidence rooted in alignment rather than external approval. Curious about developing intuitive and values-led leadership capacity. Leading in environments that reward output over authenticity.
