State of the Women's Sector 2024 Women's Resource Centre Membership Survey Results 2024 Earlier this year, WRC asked its members to share their thoughts and experiences in our membership survey. The report is now out, which has found: Four years on from the start of the pandemic, increasing demand for services and the complexity of cases were still the biggest issues facing women’s organisations. However, the top priority for ‘led by and for’ Black and minoritised women’s organisations was structural racism (59%). The funding crisis is the second biggest issue (55%). This is higher than last year when 40% of respondents cited this as a key issue in WRC’s Cost-of-Living Report. The cost-of-living crisis seems to be impacting London women’s organisations more than those outside the capital (60% of London organisations said this was a concern compared to 35% outside London). 10% more respondents outside London said structural racism was an issue than those inside the capital. Almost a third of women's organisations told us they were experiencing a crisis in staff recruitment and retention. READ OUR FULL REPORT HERE Photo by chloe s. on Unsplash Manage Cookie Preferences
