This case study has been produced by Women’s Resource Centre (WRC) in collaboration with several women’s organisations working in rural communities in the North East of England. It focusses upon the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic upon rural women’s rights as they are enshrined in Article 14 of The United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW).
