Organisation: Women’s Resource Centre

Closing date: Thursday, 30th November

Up to 21 hours per week

Contract: Minimum of 3-month placement

Women's Resource Centre (WRC) are recruiting a Volunteer Marketing Executive to undertake social media promotion, day-to-day co-ordination and administration to support the Women’s Resource Centre’s online shop. This is a flexible, hybrid role with occasional visits to the London office required.

The WRC Online Shop launched in late December 2022. In alignment with the Women’s Resource Centre’s mission and purpose, the shop offers a digital platform for independent women makers to sell their products, supporting their financial resilience.

The shop sells a variety of products made by women including art, books, fashion, accessories, homeware, jewellery and more! Every purchase from the WRC Shop supports women in 3 ways:

  1. Income for the makers contributes to the financial independence and resilience of women.
  2. Nurturing a thriving women’s sector with a donation on each product sold made to WRC to fund our core work of supporting and sustaining the UK women’s sector.
  3. Empowering women through the support WRC provides to its members and network, helping them to support the most marginalised women and their children.

The Volunteer Marketing Executive will nurture our growing seller community and help us create more sales for the shop.
