The women’s NGO sector has been a leader in bringing about positive changes to women’s (and men’s) lives and improving gender equality in the UK, yet is facing the worst funding crisis in recent history and its sustainability is being seriously undermined.

Tina’s Haven - A catalyst for emancipatory practice for birthmothers severed from their children by trauma-based addiction

When Dr Sue Robson’s beloved daughter Tina died aged 35 in temporary homeless accommodation, leaving her adored eleven year old son, she vowed to create something to shine a light on the plight of birth mothers severed from their children by trauma-based addiction. Today, less than four years on, a report is published about the Tina’s Haven pilot project.
