Job description: Womankind is seeking a highly skilled feminist Programme Manager to manage and coordinate a 5-year multi-partner, multi-country, policy and advocacy programme that starts in January 2021. This circa €10 million programme funded by the Netherlands government under Power of Women funding framework will focus on strengthening womens movements in Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda to be more representative of diverse groups of women, including women with disabilities, resulting in a stronger collective voice to challenge social norms and influence policies and key decisions affecting them.

We are looking for a dynamic, detail-orientated and passionate feminist Programme Manager to join the team. Specifically, we are looking for someone who has strong project cycle management skills including assuring technical delivery and diligent financial management. In addition, the successful candidate will have experience of setting up and working on high-value programmes and will demonstrate their creativity, flexibility and down-to-earth approach when it comes to project delivery. You will be working with partners and colleagues in different countries so cultural sensitivity and understanding is a must, as is being adaptable, especially considering the context of COVID-19. This position may be located in one of the programme focus countries or in London.

Salary: £44,679 per annum plus pension contribution.
