Job description: The Domestic Abuse Caseworker will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. They will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon client led needs and risk assessment to women aged 16 who have children. The post holder will work across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea under the guidance of the Co-locations Manager. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to work as part of Advance’s duty system on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support. They will hold a caseload of clients who are medium or standard risk of serious injury or death due to domestic violence and who have children. They will advise women on criminal justice and civil remedies, housing, benefits, wellbeing and matters relating to children, and coordinate the provision of multi-agency support.

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum pro rata for part time
