Job description: Bromley & Croydon Women’s Aid is seeking to recruit a Counselling Services Manager for our counselling service; a person who will help to lead, shape and oversee all aspects of our new in-house counselling service for survivors of domestic abuse. BCWA are looking for someone who is passionate about working to improve women's and children’s lives through therapeutic services.

The Clinical Lead will have experience in providing Clinical Supervision to qualified and/or Trainee Counsellors/Therapists.  You will have an acute awareness of the trauma-informed practice and the delivery of trauma-informed therapeutic interventions.  As well as leading the counselling service, you will carry a clinical caseload when required and ensure that regular supervision (clinical and managerial) is undertaken within required guidelines.

You will oversee the management of all operational elements of the service and work to expand and develop this service to ensure that the pilot project is embedded as part of BCWA’s core services. 

This is an incredibly varied opportunity where no two days are alike. We’re looking for someone with experience and/or knowledge of domestic abuse, and experience of working in the charity sector would be an advantage.

Location: The post will require home working initially, with access to hot-desking at our offices as needed. Flexible working is encouraged at BCWA, with a mix of home and location-based.
