Job description: The overall purpose of the Communications Assistant role is to complete a short-term project with Self injury Support to: 1. Support the overall development of organisational communications 2. Develop systems to co-ordinate digital and other organisational communications including management of website and social media 3. Update existing organisational contact databases and develop new contact databases 4. Work with project managers to develop systems to promote their work to targeted audiences

Salary: Grade: NJC Scale 3 Salary: £18,065 pro rata (based on 2019-20 paygrades, to be increased & back-dated in line with NJC agreements) Hours: 21 per week (0.6 FTE) Funding: This role is funded by the National Lottery Coronavirus Response Fund until January 2021. Contract: 6 months starting August 2020
