About the event

Writing better fundraising applications is a deep dive session into the practical aspects of writing bids.

With an increasingly competitive environment and with the economic climate still uncertain, the voluntary and community sector needs to be even more confident when it comes to fundraising and funding applications.

This workshop will give you valuable tips and knowledge about composing SMART proposals for any type of funder.

The workshop will enable you to understand what funders are looking for in applications, develop the skills required for writing concisely, learn how best to present the case on paper, and feel more confident about completing an application form and/or proposal.

This training is delivered by Tebussum Rashid. It will be delivered using a mixture of trainer input, discussion, exercises, small group work.

This course is funded for London-based organisations working with those affected by violence against women and girls.
