Job description: The overall aim of this role is to provide advocacy, support and advice to women involved in, or at risk of involvement in, the criminal justice system including at point of arrest, women serving community orders, women leaving prison and women considering ‘at risk of’ offending. This includes 1-2-1 support and the development and delivery of relevant groups and workshops. We actively encourage applications from women from a variety of backgrounds, and with a range of skills and experiences. We are particularly interested to hear from Black, Asian and minority ethnic women and women who have personal experience of the criminal justice system. The role is only open to women, in accordance with the sex-based exemptions of the Equality Act 2010 pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1.

Location: WIP Northern Office (Hulme, Manchester). Currently this role is part office based and part working from home due to Covid-19 and government guidelines. It may be subject to change.
