The Compact refresh: National Equality Partnership response
The
Compact is a crucial document for charities setting guidelines for
better working relationships with public bodies and as a key tool in
driving forward good practice. The National Equality Partnership has
written a response, highlighting what we believe to be the most
pertinent points to consider for the equalities sector. We are pleased
that the draft Compact document now includes a broader emphasis on all
of the equalities strands, and the role public bodies anf the third
sector in tackling discrimination. Read the NEP COMPACT response (PDF) or here (Word).

Single Equality Scheme, which is an action plan about how it will
promote equality and tackle discrimination.
The consultation is open until Friday 25 September 2009.Capacitybuilders asked the
National Equality Partnership
to run the consultation on its Equality Scheme. Consultation workshops
were held and NEP hosted an online survey alongside this briefing and
