Our projects

We help women's organisations run more effectively, so they can concentrate on what really matters: supporting women.

Here are some of our current projects:

Stronger Together

There are thousands of women’s organisations across the country working to support women and to achieve equality. WRC works to bring women’s organisations together, strengthening women’s networks and forums where they exist and nurturing new contacts and links.

Making Waves

WRC works collaboratively with women’s organisations and other groups to get a fairer deal for the women’s sector. We campaign and lobby on key issues affecting women's organisations and the sector.

We also support women's organisations to lobby and campaign more effectively on a wide range of issues.

Building futures

Our new project provides practical, tailored support to women's organisations in London to help them become financially stronger, resilient and more independent.

National Equality Partnership

The National Equality Partnership is a brand new three-year project funded by Capacitybuilders to support the third sector on equality and diversity issues. WRC is leading this partnership.

HEAR network

HEAR works to place equality and human rights issues at the heart of the work of London's voluntary and community sector (VCS). We do this by acting as a strong pan-equalities voice and source of knowledge and expertise on issues impacting on the VCS.

Sharing our Strengths

WRC and Women and Girls' Network (WGN) have been funded by London Councils to deliver a four-year project, Sharing Our Strengths, aimed at supporting London's violence against women and children sector through the sharing of knowledge, skills and good practice.

Policy Forum

The Policy Forum is made up of around 20 women from voluntary and community organisations and it meets three to four times a year. The aims of the Policy Forum are to share information, network, support each other and help shape the work of the Policy Team and WRC generally.
