On 30th November 2010 the Transition Fund opened, this money has been allocated by the Office for Civil Society to support organisations delivering public services that are at risk of losing tax payer funded income. Organisations awarded grants must be able to provide evidence of the income that they will be losing and demonstrate that the money awarded would be used for change activities, adapting the organisation to deliver public services in the changed funding environment.
