The Women’s Resource Centre is holding the first event of the Building Futures project in Lambeth Town Hall in November. The project aims to support women’s frontline organisations across London to become financially stronger, resilient and more independent.

Time: 2.00pm - 5.30pm
Venue: Lambeth Town Hall
Come listen and pose your questions to inspiring experts in fundraising, commissioning, trading and partnership building. They will share pearls of wisdom about how you could make your organisation more financially stable. There will also be an opportunity to network with other women's organisations at the event.
Speakers will include:- Pauline Broomhead, Chief Executive, The Foundation for Social Improvement, "3 Degrees and 7 Steps to Major Donors".
- Em Ekong, Director, Urban Inclusion Community Ltd, The FEAT Project, "Social Enterprise- How to make it work for the women's sector".
- Monica Tuohy, trainer and consultant, "To partner or not to partner, that is the question".
- Barbara Smith, Head of Strategy and Commissioning in Adults’ and Community Services, Lambeth Strategic Commissioning Unit
- Claudia Tomlinson, Strategic Commissioning Officer, Lambeth Strategic Commissioning Unit
- Winsome Burrell, Commissioning Officer, Lambeth Strategic Commissioning Unit
This event is free and open to all women’s organisations in London. Afternoon snacks will be provided whilst you network.
You will also have the opportunity to sign up for further support offered by the Women’s Resource Centre to enable you to diversify your income and make yourselves more sustainable.
