London Voluntary Service Council (LVSC) - LVSC brings London's voluntary and community sector organisations together to learn and share best practice and to create a co-ordinated voice to influence policy makers.

National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) - An umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in England.

London Councils - Brings together London's 33 local authorities, develops policy and funds voluntary organisations across London.

Health

Maya Centre - A multi-ethnic, community based women's counselling centre in London.

Midlife and Menopause - Information and support for women.

Women's Health Concern - Provides an independent service to advise, reassure and educate women about their health concerns.


Government

Government Equalities Office - Has responsibility for the Government’s overall strategy and priorities on equality issues. Responsible for policy on gender equality, including the Minister for Women's priorities.

Women's National Commission - The official, independent, advisory body giving the views of women to the Government. It aims to ensure that women's views are taken into account by the Government and are heard in public debate.

Equality and Human Rights Commission - The new commission is working to eliminate discrimination, reduce inequality, protect human rights and to build good relations, ensuring that everyone has a fair chance to participate in society.
