What is participatory action research?: Read this factsheet which outlines what it looks like.
Gender Equality Duty Audit methodology
This is a tool developed by WRC, using the statutory guidance on the Gender Equality Duty and other policy tools as a basis, to assess how well public bodies are meeting their legal obligations in their local policy frameworks. We think it could be really useful for women's organisations to use these tools to monitor their local policy.
Using different methodologies: This presentation explores some of the different methodologies used in traditional and non-traditional research (like participatory action research)
Participatory action research and intersectionality: This presentation explores what intersectionality is and how to address it within your research.
WRC have recently conducted participatory action research involving four women’s organisations (or networks) who were active research participants from March 2009 to July 2010. WRC actively supported and worked with these women’s organisations to engage with their LSP and influence their LAA. See more information about the research and the final report.
