These case studies provide examples of women’s organisations that have explored different ways of becoming more sustainable. This includes being commissioned by local authorities, developing a social enterprise, diversifying their income streams more broadly and developing partnerships with other organisations.

The Together Women Project, Yorkshire Humberside (TWP) was established in 2006 as a government demonstration project to provide holistic support for women ex offenders and those at risk of offending. TWP was originally delivered by a consortium of voluntary sector agencies and in April 2009 became an independent charity.
