You can also access free advice and resources on all aspects of finding and managing premises.

Premises and Venues' group which provides a space for the women's voluntary sector to share information and advice about premises. Join the groups to share your experience, ask your premises questions or advertise spaces that you can offer to others.

room, suitable for meetings and seminars for up to 15 people, available
for hire. Contact us to see if it would be suitable for you or complete
this room booking form.
Advertise your space
Do you have a meeting space, consulting and therapy rooms or desk space? Hiring out space can be a useful way of generating some extra income for your organisation, it is also a great way to support your sister organisations.
Asset Transfer
Many local authorities are reviewing their property portfolios and looking for opportunities to transfer their assets to community and voluntary organisations. Asset Transfer can be of great mutual benefit to Councils and the Voluntary Sector but it can be a complex process and carries some serious risks. Groups considering asset transfer need to do plenty of research and preparatory work before undertaking an Asset Transfer. The
DTA’s Asset Transfer Unit offer advice, support and resources for groups thinking of undertaking an Asset Transfer.
Property management
The
Ethical Property Foundation offer independent, ethical advice and training to help charities and voluntary groups rent, buy, let or manage their property. Support available includes training and an online and telephone advice service.

Community Assets MatterThis two day training is aimed at local infrastructure organisations, development workers, funding advisors and Community Anchors. Together with the "Community Assets Matter Handbook" the programme offers guidance, support and advice in the Management of Community Buildings and other Assets.
