Despite the campaigning we have all been doing, Rape Crisis Centres are still struggling for funding. Write to your MP, asking them to sign Early Day Motion 1604 calling for proper funding for Rape Crisis centres. An Early Day Motion is a kind of petition that MPs can sign. Find your MP.

Last week, North Wales Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre announced that it may have to close in two months after 25 years of providing services to women. The director said the centre faced increased referrals from police, health and social services which were not backed by financing. (From BBC)

Roshni (Nottingham Asian Women's Aid) is also facing funding problems and is asking people to sign a petition "opposing Nottingham City Council’s threat to withdraw funding from Roshni". Sign the petition.
