Women and lists

You just can't have too many lists, can you?

Ever struggled to find a speaker for your event? Ever thought, "Why is it always the same old faces on those panels? I'd like to be asked to speak in public more often..."? Well, the Femilist could be for you. It's a place where you can find "well versed women in the know" who are happy to be invited to speak on panels, debates etc. And if you feel you are such a woman, email thefemilist@hotmail.com to join The Femilist.

On the subject of lists... Nominations are now open for the Muslim Women Power List 2009. The Muslim Women Power List commends the achievements of Muslim women in business, the arts, media, voluntary and public sectors. It will raise awareness of their social and economic contribution to British working life and celebrate their success at a gala dinner at The Lowry Hotel on 24 March 2009. The EHRC with their partners, The Times and Emel invite entries on behalf of, or from, any Muslim women currently living and working in the UK.
