Volunteer film-makers wanted for women's events
We are looking for a small team of film-makers who would be
interested in producing a high quality, dynamic short film (5 – 8 mins)
that captures the spirit of two women's events in March. The Women’s Resource Centre, in partnership with the Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), is hosting two special events in March:
- The launch of our third why women? report on Monday 23 March at Westminster, London (invitation only)
- Our national conference on 24 March at the Human Rights Action Centre in London (book here).
The focus of the conference is on CEDAW, the international bill of rights for women. Both events will be well attended by diverse members of the women’s sector from across the UK, as well as policy makers and the EHRC.
The film team will need to be available to meet for a briefing meeting in the week beginning 9 March, attend both events, and have a rough version of the short film ready by the end of April.
We encourage expressions of interest from diverse individuals and groups, including student teams and young and emerging film-makers.
This is a voluntary role, however we would be able to contribute a small amount of money towards your expenses.
