OK. I've sent you my form and my cheque. What happens next?
When we receive your application, we will process your application, check your eligibility, and assuming all is well, put your application forward to the next Trustees meeting to be ratified by them. This can take a couple of months, so in the meantime, you will become pending members and will be eligible for full range of benefits that go with your membership category.
When the happy day comes and your application is approved by the Trustees, we will write to you and let you know so you can celebrate accordingly.
Can organisations be removed from membership?
Usually the only reasons an organisation would be removed from membership would be if it fails to pay the annual membership fee or if it changes so that it no longer meets the criteria for membership of WRC (e.g. no longer supports the mission and aims of WRC). Groups can appeal against removal using WRC's Complaints Procedure.
WRC's Board of Trustees reserves the right to refuse any group or individual membership of the Women's Resource Centre.
