"Women’s Recourse Centre (WRC) have done excellent work in bring together women’s organisations who are delivering important and much needed services for women.  WRC have highlighted the lack of resources and funding available to the women’s voluntary sector which has resulted in many women’s organisations having to close leaving their service users without the support and assistance they urgently need. As a very small second tier BME charity, with extremely limited resources, we would not have been able to voice our concerns about the needs of BME women’s organisations had WRC not mounted the why women? campaign and organised events and initiatives to highlight the predicament we find ourselves in."
